Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins

The upcoming Terminator 4 has been given the grand title “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

This will be the 1st of 3 new movies in the Terminator saga with Warner Bro’s hoping to distribute this first movie in the summer of 2009.

A screen play has already been completed, done by the same team that did Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

“This (Terminator 4) is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind,” Derek Anderson, one of the producers told Daily Variety. He also said that they had kept away from calling the new movie T4 because these 3 new movies tell a completely new story. While T1, T2 and T3 brought us up to date with now, these next 3 are set in the future.

The producers also said they had left the door open for Arnold Schwarzenegger to step in with a cameo role. Rise Of The Machines was the last movie Arnie did before becoming governer of California.

As yet it’s unclear whether Arnie “will be back” or not but watch this space.
