Christian Bale cast as John Connor

Christian Bale will be playing the part of John Connor BUT the part is only a small one, at least in Terminator Salvation anyway.

Terminator Salvation will be focusing a new character called Marcus who has slept through the war due to a coma (?) and awakes to find a new world order and someone called John Connor trying to rally whats left of the human race into some sort of resistance against the robots.

We will also be seeing the relationship between Reese and Connor as the grounding is laid and the scene set for his as yet to happen time traveling experience.
